I always look forward to hearing about significant dates from photography historians, artist-photographers and photojournalists, tech-heads, galleries, auction houses, photography critics and writers, students and teachers of photography, and photobook publishers.

Fees:

I charge the Australian Society of Authors rates for short-term, one-off freelance writing projects (sustained periods of independent writing can be commissioned by special negotiation). Amounts are in Australian currency:

• Standard Rate per Word: 93 cents (Base MEAA rate)
• Overall mean rate being achieved: 71 cents
• Maximum rate being achieved: $1.91
• Per day: $878.00
• Per half day: $585.00 (2/3 day rate)
• Per hour: $219.00
• Cancellation fee: In the event of a late cancellation of a commissioned piece, a cancellation or “kill fee” to the writer should apply.
